- Farewell -

Many friends are leaving to study abroad.
Today, we had a farewell party for Melissa and Eugene.

Date: 8th February 2009
Venue: Eugene's house, USJ 3
Time: 6pm*preparation started in the morning. Tq *100000000000 to those who helped out.*

Carol and I were supposed to go for Lydia's open house before we head to his house, but last minute decided not to. I was thinking of going there earlier just in case they need any assistance, manatau we were one of the latest. ~malu~
From this incident, it's proven that there must be scouts when the group is having BBQ.
Shyan was sweating,
Li Xing was putting charcoal,
Yit Wei was fanning,
and we also have heroines who worked so hard > YM & Jun.
#those who didn't do faham faham la and I'm one of those. Sry#

This BBQ came at a not right timing where I'm still sick.
Mommy: "Don't eat so much of the grilled stuff."
Me: " Yes, mommy!"
Well, I did control myself, but still ended up eating so much. haha.
Anyway I did not get worse. God bless me!!

- Friends' Session -

Chinese New Year does not only spend time with family and relatives, but also with my beloved friends.

This year, I fully utilised the 15 days of CNY with them.
However, I feel sorry for not teman-ing my family and him alone. Soree~~~

Chu San,
Dad treated grandma, aunties and uncles lunch.
My 5th auntie came back from Sarawak to celebrate CNY with us for the very 1st time.
First time getting angpau from her in my entire life. =)
When I was having lunch, my hp made so much noise.
Kf messaged and claimed that he's supeeer bored.
So, we went to Eugene's house for mahjong session.
I love mahjong!!! haha.
Played since evening till midnight.
Crazy ppl, aren't we?
But, we had lots of fun. And I won money in mahjong. =p

Chu Wu,
Our house-hopping day!!!
Reached Yi Wen at 10.10am.
I thought I was late, manatau I was still one of the earliest.
While driving to her house, I saw Eugene's car but Yit Wei was driving. Well, Eugene orang cacat!! haha.
Around 11am, we proceeded to Kf's house. He didn't join us during the daytime session because he has class from 2 to 6pm. Such a poor thing.
Then, we went to Ken's house. Stayed for only awhile b4 we drove to Vn's house.
Vn is leaving for Poland for a student exchange programme.
Today was sort of a farewell for her as well. hehe.
Lunch at Nando's, Subang Parade.
Next destination was my house after staying over at Mel's house for 1 hour plus.
We gambled a few rounds and I was the Jong.
They conned my money. haha.
After that, we had dinner at Asia Cafe, and continued with Carol's house.
Last but not least, Eugene's house again. Been going there for so many times.
Auntie and uncle are so sweet to us though we have troubled them.
This day, I got sick. Sob.

Chu Ba,
We Hokkien love today, because we will Bai Tian Gong at midnight. There is so much joy.

Another busy day with friends.
Morning, afternoon and night, all with different gang of people.
10.30am, met up Carrie, Su Yen and Vern Shearn at SMKSJ for secondary gathering. Yes, so called reunion!! haha.
Nvm, we still continued our own chit-chat session.
We drove to Subang Parade and had Pizza Hut as our brunch.

Then, I went back home and not long later Kok Hou called and told me that he's coming over to fetch me soon. Manatau, Jin Young's car was there.
Made me confused pulak. haha.
Anyway, thanks for fetching around.
We 1st went to Amanda's house and moved ahead to Low Lao Shi's house.



After that, we settled down by having dinner at Pappa Kopitiam at Puchong.

At night, came home, took a shower and went out again.
Went have dinner with Kf. Lx was there teman-ing us too.
Then, Eugene's house again.
Was just lepak-ing and had our usual game.

Tiredzzz!!
But I enjoyed every second of my days!!!
I realised that time does flies rapidly. =(

- Happy Chinese New Year!!! -

Its the year of OX.

That means my bro is 2 cycles old - 24 years old. Hoho. He is so.........OLD?? opps.

On the eve, what I do in the morning???
Hmm, I don't remember what I did in the daytime. In short, I was busy. =)
As usual, we go to grandma's house for the reunion dinner in the evening.
I rushed to the dining table because I was extremely hungry.
After meal, we had tv session.
Around 10pm, we got home and prepared for prayers at midnight.
We had gambling sessions too.
For your info, our family is quite into gambling during CNY like how I'm into CNY this festival. Haha.
I lost pretty much this year. Ouch, sakit hati.



Chu Yi
We were all vegetarians till night time *bravo* because we believed eating Zhai on the 1st day helps to smooth out things for us throughout the year.
It was rather a boring day.
We went to 2 temples. One in KL and another in Jenjarom.
Beautiful scenery.

Chu Er
It's a hectic day. We were going to different houses (mom's side).
1st, we prodeeded to my 2nd aunt's house because its the nearest.
Then, 1st aunt's house. It has always used to be the last house to visit but we changed the schedule this year.
One of my cousins is going back to S'pore in the afternoon, so we went earlier to see his last face.
Well, as in see him b4 he goes back la.
Then, we drove to fifth uncle's house and stay for only awhile due to the time constraint.
Next is fourth uncle's house.
We kids have a small gambling session.
And I'm the youngest among them, so U know how to define kids la. haha.
Not long later, last uncle called and asked us to go his house.
~love going there~
Auntie will always prepare snacks for us. And it's delicious. haha.
After that, we walked to 3rd uncle's house as it is only at the opposite.

Its dinner time!! 1st aunt was rushing us to go makan.

Got curry chicken, stewed sea cucumber, mixed vege, fried stuff and soup.
Enjoyed the day!!! Love it.

- Preparation ( III ) -

There is a tradition that one must wear new clothes during Chinese New Year!
So, as a typical young lady, I definitely will not miss the chance to go shopping and buy new blouses and pants. WOOHOO!!!

My elder has bought many new shirts and I have yet to take any action.
Nvm, fast does not mean she wins. haha.
This day, I went to hunt for my prey with my elder sis. (Mummy has no time to teman me because she is busy doing cookies at home. Oh, there is no more update for cookies because I have gone for shopping instead. =p)
Window shopping for hours, I got myself home a pants. A pair of pants ONLY. That does not pay my satisfaction of walking so long. So, we went pyramid at night and this time was with my mom. Hoho, we came home with bags of clothes. hehe.

On 22 January, YM and I went Ikano and The Curve. Had a wonderful time with her. haha. We love going to Padini Concept Store because we will eventually get what we want without walking so much. And these few days, the both of us have been going in and out of pyramid several times continuously.

That's all for the preparation. Now, I shall wait patiently for Chinese New Year's Eve. Oh, my favourite!!! Muax.

Chinese New Year Eve!!!

However, there's so much to do before we could celebrate CNY.
tiredzzz. =(

1st of all, a thorough house clean out.
Mom said kitchen is the dirtiest, so we started our gotong-royong at kitchen 1 month ago.
*Mummy, it will still be the same after we have cleaned.*
Hate cleaning kitchen. Know why?
Because U have to say HI to those disgusting creatures.
Lizards running here and there;
dead cockroaches lying in front;
AND AND their shits are all around the shelves. yucks.

Next, our beloved storeroom.
Well, it's not dirty but ALL IN A MESS.
So proud to say that I was the only one to arrange the storeroom.
clapsssss.....

Then, it's bedrooms' turn.
Hard job man.
We have to climb up and down to clean the ceilings. So much spider webs. Yis!!
In order to beautify our rooms, we have no choice but kill. 善哉善哉!!

People have false impression of me not doing housework.

All due to the laziness of mine for not putting sunblock ever since I'm in Cyber.
I don't use umbrella here too, unless it's raining.

Back to the time in Melaka, the 1st thing I did after brushing teeth and washing face, I will apply the whitening cream and sunscreen onto my hands and legs, despite I was wearing long pants and long blouses. Besides, umbrella is my important asset. I will take out my beloved umbrella to cover myself whenever I'm walking under the hot sun.*such a puteri lilin. What to do? I get dark easily, sudahlah so dark, if don't do so, I'm already a charcoal now. haha.

Can the time turn back?

Yup, I can be considered a regular customer of sing-k. Don't be surprised that my mom goes there even more. haha.
There's so much fun singing.
The food is nice, the environment is cool, the songs are new, the waitresses and waiters are polite and its rather cheap!!

Don't wanna go sing-k because U can't sing well?

We go there not to show off we can sing, it's when U don't sing properly and out of tune that the laughter comes.

This day (don't rmb the date), four of us went sing-k. Papa wanted to come along but he has to pick up my sis at dunno-wat-time. Kecoh la U, Poh Yee. =p
