- Happy Birthday!! -

Today is my best friend >> Yong Mei's Birthday!!! Though I couldn't do anything for her as I'm in Cyber, another bunch of our friends did a real surprise for her. I supposed she was shocked to see them at that late hour. According to Li Jun, she told me that they are going to her house to wish her probably at around 10 or 11pm because every1 has curfew, even the Birthday Girl herself. Yong Mei's dad is kinda strict. Well, as a father, his social responsibilty requires him to take good care of his daughter. God knows what is gonna happen out there for the society is no longer that safe and peaceful. In another word, he is being very caring to his daughter.

When the time strikes 12am, I called Yong Mei to wish her A Happy Birthday!!! Before she could speak, I have already heard the noises from the crowd at her house. It must have been a great time, but too bad that I missed it...damn!! Anyway, the most importantly is that she enjoyed the night very much and we hope U will like the presents from us.

Yong Mei is a very friendly person. She has got lots of good friends and I'm so glad to be one of them. Everything she does, she will think for the others 1st, then only she goes back to her own benefit. Where else on the earth U could get a bestie like her? I'm so lucky indeed. Last but not least, I would like to wish to have A SWEET 19th BIRTHDAY again. May all your dreams come true and stay happy, healthy and pretty always ya!!!

Today is Saturday. Well,I think every1 knows that and so fast this year Chinese New Year has come to 初十. We had a Steamboat Dinner at YM's house. * Credit to YM and her family for organising such dinner and credit to Janice for the photos *

We were eating non-stop. The only word that could be heard most of the time is, "Eat, Eat more ya!!!", by YM's mom..haha..We really had a wonderful time and the pictures serve as the proof.

Is Valentine all about flowers, chocolate and gifts?

Well, I have to say yes. Everywhere is selling roses and sweet gifts. But I gotta say that not every1 likes flower. So before purchasing a gift, make sure of what he or she likes. For girls, I think no1 will reject flowers...haha...However, if the 1 U love is allergic to flowers, then U have to make more efforts to do paper flowers to her/him. This is called "Sam Yi".

I have a friend who just started her love life yesterday. She got a very special gift from HIM. They 2 have really sweet moments. Whenever I think of them, I will be definitely smiling....haha...Hopefully they 2 will stay together forever. I feel very happy for them.

There are another 10 days towards the end of Chinese New Year. I still have lotsa wishings to do. I'm sure I will need my phone terribly this week. I miss my HP!! I wanna touch it...sob...I was in a great hurry this morning because I need to rush back for my 8 o'clock class. I know some of U may say," That's your own fault. Who ask U not to pack your things properly the night before?" But I wasn't at home most of the time yesterday and by the time I reached home, it was already 10 something at night. I was pretty tired after the whole day of visitings.

Well, maybe I'm just simply blaming other things to cover my own carelessness. I'm such a clumsy girl. (My mom always says that to me...haha...) One should be responsible for their own things. I have definitely learnt my lesson, but I always tend to forget things easily. Many think and claimed that I'm a clever girl, but honestly I do not think so. Even though I did quite ok academically, it doesn't make me a smart person. Perhaps I'm really the opposite of what U have thought of me!!!

I'm so gonna admit that I'm such a silly person. Something that another person could have done it within 10 minutes, I might take up to 1 hour. (OMG!! The ratio is by 6 times.) This is all due to the careless actions of mine. When can I change for the better? No1 can be escaped from careless mistakes, but can I reduce mine to a 0.00000001 percent?

RAT Year (2008) Resolution:

• Be more careful, systematic, daring and able to make decision without regrets.
• Continued 4 FLATs!!!
• More money..hehe..
• Family and I maintain healthy and safe always.

AHHHHHHH....Back to my 1st careless mistake, how silly am I that I forgot to bring my phone back!! Of all days, why is it not with me when I needed it the most? haiz...Now, I understand why do some people say that handphone is a necessity rather than a luxury. I totally agree with this statement. My hands are so itchy. I wanna type message and call people. Today is not a good day!! No reason, it's simply how I feel right now.

- Chinese New Year Eve -

Yeah, It's CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

As usual, I have reunion dinner at my grandma's house. All my uncles were there. But this year, out of my expectation, all my aunts and their family came, except for my last aunt who stays in Sarawak. The house was packed with people and that is why I love celebrating it because I get to experience the warmth of the house.

At first, it was quite boring due to the late arrivals of "our members". haha...There were plenty of dishes waiting for us that day. All of us ate till our stomach was bloated up. After eating, we went out to the house compound to play firework. It sounds like we are as if small kids. Well, it isn't a bad thing to act like a child sometimes.

Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important. A smile on your face is the weapon that kills. Am I exaggerating? Well, maybe it's a little bit too over, but smile is definitely a powerful instrument when one deals with another person. When U are alone at a new place, with not many friends around and hoping to know more people, the warmth of your smile is the invaluable asset.

Smiling at one person might get U some returns, at least they would smile back at U. There was a proverb saying that, "Beauty is power; a smile is its sword." One's beauty is the current that attracts the sight of the others while one's smile is the 1 that can break the others' heart. Both of them, I would say, are complement goods. They 2 are related in a joint manner. (I used economics term man...haha...)

However, before getting smiles from others, have U seen your own smile today? Do remember that U are still not fully dressed up without a smile. Smile more!!! Don't let your teeth be hidden inside your lips. Sunshine is good for your teeth....haha...

Smile is contagious, be a carrier of it and let your surrounding filled with your kindly smiles. Say cheese!!!

- 1 week left -

Hehe...CNY is coming!!! YEAH!!! It's exactly one week from now. Aren't U happy? Maybe U are not that excited as I am. Yong Mei even said," Sook Yin, your favourite festival is coming." haha...I admit it, I love celebrating Chinese New Year. Well, It's partly because of the "angpows" that I receive, but it's definitely not the main reason...haha...

I love the atmostphere where all the relatives sit together and eat 团圆饭. Though we are relatives, but still rarely see each other. We all have our own family and life, and CNY is the only time when we can meet up and chit-chat. That's so much fun. We should always appreciate the chances of being together as it happens only once in a year.

My life is better now, at least I won't get "sesat" here anymore...haha...Thanks to my sis who came over to my place to show me everywhere with explaination about the details to me, and not forgetting that she treated me dinner....haha..My senior here complimented that she (My Sis) was an excellent senior. Hmm, is that true? But one thing that I'm sure is SHE is a very responsible and wonderful SISTER. Thanks. JIE!!! (I used your favourite colour...haha...)

- Cyber -

I got up so early this morning to attend the st*p** briefing in Cyber. Opps, did I say that word? haha...Well, it was quite an useful talk that actually help me alot as I'm still new here. Just in case that U don't know, I have finished my studies in Melaka and will be starting my new Uni life in Cyber starting from tomorrow onward. My dear Janice even asked me, "Mana kamu hilang?" Imagine how long we have not met up each other. I think we will meet up one day soon right?

After sleeping over for the 1st night here, I still prefer Melaka. I MISS EP!!! Perhaps I'm still not used to this new environment. I think I better start to like this strange place as I'm going to stay for the rest of my 4 years until I complete my degree. Such a long time isn't it? haiz...Cyber campus is freaking big. I hate it!! It makes me have to walk so much. Legs pain la!!!

Anyway, I wish that I could have my wonderful Uni life here. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly. I wanna be a better person this year. (P/S: It doesn't mean that I was a bad person the years before...haha) I don't wanna be the usual clumsy girl that did so many evitable mistakes throughout 2007. May God bless me!!
