- Smile -

A smile costs nothing but gives much.
It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give.
A smile is the universal welcome.
It takes a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
A sincere smile cannot be bought, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that comes from one's heart.

Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important. A smile on your face is the weapon that kills. Am I exaggerating? Well, maybe it's a little bit too over, but smile is definitely a powerful instrument when one deals with another person. When U are alone at a new place, with not many friends around and hoping to know more people, the warmth of your smile is the invaluable asset.

Smiling at one person might get U some returns, at least they would smile back at U. There was a proverb saying that, "Beauty is power; a smile is its sword." One's beauty is the current that attracts the sight of the others while one's smile is the 1 that can break the others' heart. Both of them, I would say, are complement goods. They 2 are related in a joint manner. (I used economics term man...haha...)

However, before getting smiles from others, have U seen your own smile today? Do remember that U are still not fully dressed up without a smile. Smile more!!! Don't let your teeth be hidden inside your lips. Sunshine is good for your teeth....haha...

Smile is contagious, be a carrier of it and let your surrounding filled with your kindly smiles. Say cheese!!!

- 1 week left -

Hehe...CNY is coming!!! YEAH!!! It's exactly one week from now. Aren't U happy? Maybe U are not that excited as I am. Yong Mei even said," Sook Yin, your favourite festival is coming." haha...I admit it, I love celebrating Chinese New Year. Well, It's partly because of the "angpows" that I receive, but it's definitely not the main reason...haha...

I love the atmostphere where all the relatives sit together and eat 团圆饭. Though we are relatives, but still rarely see each other. We all have our own family and life, and CNY is the only time when we can meet up and chit-chat. That's so much fun. We should always appreciate the chances of being together as it happens only once in a year.

My life is better now, at least I won't get "sesat" here anymore...haha...Thanks to my sis who came over to my place to show me everywhere with explaination about the details to me, and not forgetting that she treated me dinner....haha..My senior here complimented that she (My Sis) was an excellent senior. Hmm, is that true? But one thing that I'm sure is SHE is a very responsible and wonderful SISTER. Thanks. JIE!!! (I used your favourite colour...haha...)

- Cyber -

I got up so early this morning to attend the st*p** briefing in Cyber. Opps, did I say that word? haha...Well, it was quite an useful talk that actually help me alot as I'm still new here. Just in case that U don't know, I have finished my studies in Melaka and will be starting my new Uni life in Cyber starting from tomorrow onward. My dear Janice even asked me, "Mana kamu hilang?" Imagine how long we have not met up each other. I think we will meet up one day soon right?

After sleeping over for the 1st night here, I still prefer Melaka. I MISS EP!!! Perhaps I'm still not used to this new environment. I think I better start to like this strange place as I'm going to stay for the rest of my 4 years until I complete my degree. Such a long time isn't it? haiz...Cyber campus is freaking big. I hate it!! It makes me have to walk so much. Legs pain la!!!

Anyway, I wish that I could have my wonderful Uni life here. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly. I wanna be a better person this year. (P/S: It doesn't mean that I was a bad person the years before...haha) I don't wanna be the usual clumsy girl that did so many evitable mistakes throughout 2007. May God bless me!!

- UPs and DOWNs -

Life is never easy.
Life is full of UPs & DOWNs.
We will never get to anticipate what is gonna happen at the next second.
A second here, U get a good news; but who knows the next second, a disappointment pops up. How I wish that everyone goes through happy times throughout the entire life!!!

Is the year of "RAT" not a good year for people born in the year of zodiac "SNAKE"?
Though the year of "RAT" is still 10 days away, I have a feeling that it would be a hard year. Many of my friends encountered unhappy moments on the last few days of year of "RAT", is this a bad sign of this upcoming year? Well, I do not know.

However, even though life is full of "traps",
this is how our lives are so exciting and challenging as we are exposed to both failures and success. When one succeeds something, he/she will be very happy and feels as if he/she is in the heaven; when one fails to do something or faces disappointment, he/she will tend to think that he/she is a real loser and become very desperate. P/S: Don't be too happy over the achievement U have made for the current moment; at the same time, Don't be too sad if U are not able to make something fulfiled at the time being.

The UPs and DOWNs that appear in our daily life are our history. Once it's happened, it leaves footprints in our memory and it cannot be erased as they are kept in the permanent storage. History is the past, but we should look to the front and serve the past as reminders. Do not do anything that U will regret in the future.

- Lagoon -

We finally went to Sunway Lagoon. It was after a few times of planning failures ever since last year. Today was the best day to go Lagoon. It has the perfect weather >> windy. This is absolutely a benefit to girls as we won't get sun burn...haha...

Well, I'm awful tired now and my whole body is in Pain, Pain, Pain. Anyway, I enjoyed myself alot with Yong Mei, Li Xing and Su Yen.

- Sad -

Yesterday was the farewell with my housemates, today will be with all my beloved friends here. As early as 8.00am, we walked to University Green, where a friend of mine stays there. As usual, we went swimming in this early morning. Oh gosh, the water was so cold!! I was trembling when I was swimming. One can easily catch cold under such circumstance, but fortunately I'm strong enough...haha...

After that, we went back the apartment to get ourselves cleaned up. But before we started doing so, we called and ordered our breakfast >> MCD. We were extremely hungry after that calories-burning sports. The person told us that our delivery will reach within 30 minutes. Well, how can all of us finish taking shower in 30 minutes so that we can enjoy the breakfast together if there were only 2 toilets? Fight for it? haha...Everyone here is gentleman and gentlewoman, we won't do such thing ok?

The best way is the guys use 1 toilet and the other one for girls. As the delivery comes, all of us were readily sitting in the living room. Perfect Timing!!! After eating, we had our karaoke session. We have mics, screen (Laptop), musics and lyrics.

Sing and sing and sing, suddenly Sje Hui shed a tear. She quickly ran out of the room to prevent being seen by anyone because when one cries, the others tend to cry as well. But it was too late. I was the next who cried out and samething went to the rest. The culprit was the background music. It was playing the song of "Peng You". After awhile, everything went back to normal. But when time comes to an end, I couldn't stand it and once again, I cried. I admit I'm a cry baby...haha... Everyone was hugging each other and crying together. The scene was so touching.

The farewell ended when it was the time we have to send 2 friends to Melaka Central. They took the 2 o'clock bus back to KL and the rest of us, too, went home. Just when I stepped into the house, I heard a familiar voice calling for my name. Then I saw my roomate was still in the room. I thought she has already gone home. I guess she MISSES me very much...haha...

Here comes her boyfriend when her handphone rang. We helped to move her things down to her boyfriend's car as she brought many things back. It was so nice of her, that she purposely came back to give me a present. Inside the paper bag was a few of our pictures. She even gave me a hand-made card, which she has written alot on it. I have nothing to give her in return but a hug before she left.

~ Thanks Soo Ying!!! U have brightened my life in Melaka. I really treasure the days that we spent together. I shall see U in Cyber real soon ya. ~

Tonight was my last night sleeping in my room, but without HER >> My beloved roomate.

- The End of Foundation -

I sat for my last paper today. In other words, that means I have already finished my foundation. I should be happy of it, but instead I feel abit confused, perhaps it's because that also means that I'm gonna leave here soon. Anyway, I have enjoyed myself alot today. My housemates have prepared a farewell party for me. I was very touched. In fact, I felt very sorry for them because a few of them are having paper tomorrow morning. Thanks girls, I really love u guys.

What was I doing when every1 was busy preparing for our steamboat >>> Taking photos, but I did help them out...haha...

It's boiling, soon we can enjoy them...Yum Yum!!!

~ Special card & Chocolate from them ~

~ A warm family ~

It was so fun. We spent the whole night eating, chatting, taking photos probably for the last. Time passed very fast. I didn't notice the time is already 3am. I really had a great day. Thanks for giving such memorable night before I leave. The card was so unique for it contains the blesses of each of every1 of U. I really appreciate!!!

- New Year Eve -

Today is the last day of Year 2007.
Recalling back, what have U done for the past year?
2007 is a really challenging year for me as I have come over to Melaka to study all by myself. Frankly, I have found myself to be much more independent, no longer afraid of the unknown and the extreme situations. Throughout this year, I have gained alot, meanwhile I have lost alot too. Life is full of UPs and DOWNs, and there are when we get to learn new things.

People should be satisfied with the things they have in life. Though I'm not perfect but I really appreciate the things that I have now indeed. I have nothing to say beside a sincere Thank You!!! Thank GOD for granting me all these. I feel so grateful to my family whom they give me the best support and I would like to apologise for my misbehaviours. They are always there to encourage me when I'm upset.

Besides that, friends play important roles in my life too!! Approaching 2008, Yong Mei has been my best friend for 3 years. She is absolutely a sweet friend. Thanks Yong Mei and the rest. Despite I'm no longer that close with the others as last time, I'm sure our friendship will last long and forever. For the new friends I have known over here this year, I'm very thankful to them as they coloured my year 2007 with the most awesome memories. I really don't wish to leave them and Melaka...sob sob....

Before the year 2008 comes, have U thought of this questions "What's your resolutions for the coming new year?" Well, for me, I wish that all my dreams come true and my dreams are so simple that is the ones whom I know stay happy and healthy always. May they have a wonderful 2008!!!

31/12/2007 is the birthday of another of my housemate. We were kinda high today though most of us are sitting for papers in the afternoon. Every1 stay awake till 12am to celebrate. It's already midnight, yet we still made so much noise. We sang out the birthday song aloud and were playing with the cake. Fortunately, the warden didn't come up and warn us...haha...

Happy Family of Emerald Park, Unit B 03-16

Everyone will definitely go out to countdown but so sad that I didn't go anywhere due to some reasons. However, I, too, have a wonderful night. Leaving not many days here, I must take pictures of my beloved house and room in case I miss this place next time.

2 bears on my bed, one is my roomate's and the other 1 is mine, which was my last year birthday gift from my beloved friends.

The Chocolate!!

The White!!!

Peace!!!

Isn't it a bit wasted to do such thing when people enjoy counting down out there? But I do not regret. Spending the time with my lovely roomate is definitely a pleasure. I had a wonderful time and I'm sure this will bring me good luck and constant happiness in year 2008.
